The Video/Media Pack is useful for organisations who wish to promote user generated content.

The majority of websites on the Internet use blogs, wikis, discussion groups to interact with the public. With our Video Media Pack, site visitors can actually send in their images or video clips directly to the website.

The Video/Media pack has a video encoding service which allows people to send in images or video clips via sms, mms or email directly to the site. This service will automatically convert the image or video clip to the correct format for the site.  This is an excellent way to encourage user generated content from the public direct to your website.

The Media Pack also includes the Mail-to-Web module which allows users to publish information to their site remotely and securely through their laptops and PDAs. Within iCM Freedom your clients can set up an email address for a specific page of their site and users can simply send an email to that email address. The content of the email will be extracted and added to that area as an article.  Your clients can set this up so that articles must be put through a workflow and approved before going live. Users can add images, PDFs, Word, Powerpoint and Excel files which will be extracted and placed within the article as downloadable documents.
